Current volunteer positions available:

Digital Communications & Marketing Strategist

  • Help us translate the mission, brand and values of the VfRR approach for digital audiences! Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: Developing and refining our strategies for customer retention and acquisition; creating stunning graphics for our newsletter and social media forums; assisting with brand management and customer service

Program & Events Coordinator

  • Help us curate and create meaningful spaces for conversation through our programming and events! In this position you will plan, coordinate and implement events in collaboration with staff and volunteer leadership. Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: event planning, social media management, managing multiple schedules, preparing presentation documents, and more.

Grant Writing Guru

  • Help us expand our network and projects with a steady stream of financial support! This position will be responsible for increasing our grant readiness and competitively apply for and successfully managing grant funding. Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: Researching potential grants and funders; assisting in developing compelling letters of inquiry, proposals and reports; establishing and maintaining an updated annual grants calendar; working collaboratively with the Executive Director and other volunteer staff to gather information needed for grants and proposals.

Content Development & Copywriting Enthusiast

  • Help us tell a compelling stories with In this position you will deliver quality writing pieces that appeal to our various clients audiences, attract customers, and boost brand awareness. Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: Identifying customers’ needs and gaps in our content and recommend new topics; proofreading and editing blog posts before publication; researching VfRR-related topics

Legal Liaison

  • Help us keep on top of the various legal considerations of our work! Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: Revising and finalizing legal documents, including contracts, specific portions of our business plan, communicating with clients via phone and email; support in other legal administrative duties

Guest Writer for VfRR Blog

  • Help us bring issues to life and make them real with personal stories, experiences, and perspectives that are from the ground, from the heart, and from your personal voice. We seek writers who are willing to share their stories to build a greater skill set for understanding each other. This position will be responsible for co-creating deeply personal content and working with the leadership team on copyediting.
